    Steps to make Mint pulao:

    1. Rinse rice drain and keep aside. In a mixer grinder grind chopped mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger garlic and make a fine paste.Heat oil in pressure cooker and add cumin seeds and chopped onion sauté for a second. Now add curry leaves and whole spices and sauté.
    2. Now add green mint paste and mix well.cook for a min.
    3. Now add chopped carrot and green peas and sauté.Along with this goes chopped tomato and further cook till tomato becomes soft.
    4. Now add turmeric powder and salt and sauté.Add rice and mix well.
    5. Add 2 cup water and mix. Pressure cook for 10 mins or (2 whistles)
    6. Off the gas burner and let the pressure goes away. Garnish with fried cashews and mint leaves. This one pot meal goes well with Raita.
