    1. Get 100 gm Ginger peeled & grated
    2. Make ready 10-12 Dates (seed removed)
    3. Make ready 1/4 Cup Ghee
    4. Get 1/2 Cup Jaggery (Gurh)
    5. Take 1/3 Cup Sugar
    6. Make ready 1/3 Cup Whole Wheat Flour (atta)
    7. Take 1/2 Tsp Cardamom powder
    8. Make ready 2-3 Green Cardamom
    9. Prepare 4-5 Pistachio
    10. Prepare 2 Tbsp Coconut grated
    11. Make ready Chop Pistachio and Grated Coconut to garnish

    Instructions

    Instructions to make Adrak khajoor ka halwa:

    1. Wash and peel ginger, grate it finely. Remove seeds from dates and chop them. Chop/ Crush jaggery also.
    2. Take 2 Cups water in a pot. Add crush jaggery, sugar, cardamom powder, a pinch of dry ginger (sonth) powder and leave on medium heat till the sugar & jaggery melts properly and syrup reduce to half.
    3. Heat ghee in a pan. Add green cardamom and pistachio.fry a minute. Add grated ginger and saute on medium flame till water dries out.add wheat flour (atta) mix well with ginger
    4. Saute atta in pan till it incorporate well in ginger. Add little syrup also to mix atta. Gradually all atta mixed in ginger.
    5. In a blender, add dates & little water or syrup. And blend well. Some of the dates remain unblended and some blend.
    6. Add this blended dates paste in ginget and mix well.add syrup in pan and stir continuly to mix halwa well. Let it cook on medium flame.
    7. Stir in between to avoid sticking.as the syrup incorporates in ginger, all ingredients comes together.add half of grated coconut. Halwa leaves sides of pan itself and comes in together.
    8. Take out halwa in platter. Garnish with chop pistachio and coconut. Enjoy with Cookpad.
