The ingredients needed to make Sooji Halwa:
Prepare 1/2 Cup Sooji (Rava)
Make ready 1 1/2 Cup Milk or Water
Make ready 1/4 Cup Sugar
Get 1/8 Cup Ghee
Make ready 1/4 tsp elaichi powder(optional)
Take As needed Some pieces of Kaju, Badam, Kishmish (totally optional)
Take as needed Kesar if you want kesari Halwa

Steps to make Sooji Halwa:
To a pan Milk or water heat up on medium flame. While Milk (for creamy texture & enhance taste) or water heat up put a pan on medium flame and add ghee to it. Now add Sooji and stir continuously.
Stir Sooji around 7-8 min. When Sooji is beginning to change colour I.e light brown add warm Milk or water in it. Keep stirring, Sooji will absorbs all liquid and thicken up.
Now add Sugar in it and stir it till sugar dissolves in it.
Add elaichi powder & all dryfruits and mix it. This step is totally optional. You can also add Kesar too enhance flavour.
Sooji Halwa is ready. Serve hot Halwa garnish with dryfruits.
