Take 2 tbsp oil
Take 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
Make ready 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
Take 1 tsp white sesame seeds
Prepare 1 pinch Asafoetida (hing)
Make ready leaves Few curry
Get Dessicated coconut to garnish
Instructions
Steps to make Semolina Veg Cake:
Chop the vegetables and Keep ready.In a mixing bowl take semolina,add besan and curd.Mix well.Now add water little at a time and as needed to prepare a batter like that of cake batter consistency.cover and rest for 10 min.Now add salt,Black pepper powder and turmeric powder.If needed,add water.Mix well.
Add chopped chilli,Coriander leaves,and other chopped vegetables.Mix everything well.Heat a steamer with 1 glass water in it Place a stand in the center.cover and preheat for 5 min.Now in the batter add Eno fruit salt and mix it.
Pour this batter in a greased container.Tap it 2-3 times and place it on the stand in the steamed.cover with lid and let it cook for 20-25 min.Check with tooth pick.when cooked,off the flame.Take out the container.Prepare the tempering with oil,mustard seeds,Cumin seeds,sesame seeds,curry leaves and a pinch of asafoetida.pour it on the cake and spread evenly.garnish with Dessicated coconut.
Cut into pieces and Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
