    The ingredients needed to make Sushi Rice:

    1. Take 3 cups sushi rice
    2. Prepare 1/3 cup rice vinegar
    3. Make ready 2 tbsp sugar
    4. Prepare 1 1/2 tsp coarse salt

    1. Rinse rice several times until the water runs clear, then let it soak for 30 minutes
    2. Cook in rice cooker on sushi setting
    3. Mix together vinegar, sugar, and salt, then heat in microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until everything is dissolved and set aside to cool
    4. Once rice is done, spoon it out into a wet glass container. Add vinegar slowly while using rice paddle to mix into rice
    5. Mold rice with wet hands into onigiri, or spread on a bamboo mat to roll sushi
