Prepare 3-4 bread slices with edges discarded
Make ready 1 green chilli chopped

Get 2 tablespoon roasted semolina
Take 1 small onion chopped

Tear the bread into pieces and place them in a mixing bowl
Add onion, cumin, pepper,chilli,curry leaves, ginger to the bread pieces
Add salt to taste, rice flour and semolina
Mash all ingredients well
Now pour in the buttermilk slowly and start to combine/bind the mixture
Once done, grease you palms
Create Medu vadas out of the mixture (makes 6-7 medium vadas)
Heat oil for deep frying
Fry the vadas in batches until brown on both sides
Rest the fried vadas on an absorbent paper for sometime
Serve warm with your favourite chutnies, sambhar
