    2. Add onion, cumin, pepper,chilli,curry leaves, ginger to the bread pieces
    3. Add salt to taste, rice flour and semolina
    4. Mash all ingredients well
    5. Now pour in the buttermilk slowly and start to combine/bind the mixture
    6. Once done, grease you palms
    7. Create Medu vadas out of the mixture (makes 6-7 medium vadas)
    8. Heat oil for deep frying
    9. Fry the vadas in batches until brown on both sides
    10. Rest the fried vadas on an absorbent paper for sometime
    11. Serve warm with your favourite chutnies, sambhar
