    1. Get 1.5 Bowl Warai rice(bhagar)
    2. Take 2 medium sized bolied potatoes
    3. Take 3 and half bowl water
    4. Make ready Salt
    5. Get Ginger and green chilli paste
    6. Prepare Cumin seeds
    7. Prepare Oil for frying

    It is usually made in a doughnut shape, with a crispy exterior and soft interior. These are mostly made without onions, ginger, pepper & chilies based on the family customs. Medu Vada or simply Vada are crispy fritters made with urad daal and enjoyed with sambar or chutney. They are usually served along side idli as part of a perfect South Indian.

    Instructions to make Farali medu wada:

    1. First wash warai rice neatly
    2. Boil water in a pan add some salt to it.
    3. Once it starts boiling add warai rice to it.mix well and let it cook for 5 to 10 mins
    4. Mash two potatoes in big bowl, now add cooked warai rice to it,it should not be hot.
    5. Add ginger and green chilli paste, salt and cumin seeds to it. Mix well
    6. Knead soft dough with water adding gradually.
    7. Heat oil in kadai.prepare medu wada from dough and fry till golden brown.fry it patiently.do not fry on high flame.
    8. Serve with coconut chutney
