    Ingredients

    The ingredients needed to make Medu wada:

    1. Take 2 cups black gram dal/urad dal
    2. Prepare 1/4 two fenugreek seeds /methi daana
    3. Prepare 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
    4. Prepare As per taste Salt
    5. Get As required Oil for deep fry

    Medu vada or vadai is a traditional favourite of South India that features not just in everyday cuisine, festivals and puja days. Take care to make the Medu vadas as soon as the batter is made, as they will absorb too much oil if left to ferment. Medu vada chutney is made from fresh coconut. And add in a blender jar.

    Steps to make Medu wada:

    1. Soak urad dal, methi at least 2 to 3 hours. Then grind adding by little water.Then keep aside for two hours for fermentation. When u want to make wada then add required salt, chopped coriander and mix well.
    2. Take some batter on your palm. Give it a round shape. finger make a hole in the center and then deep fry in hot oil. When medhu vada slightly golden then gently turn over and continue to fry.
    3. Enjoy.

    Add roasted chana dal, green chillies, salt, cumin seeds and ginger. Blend using some water to a smooth chutney. You can even add some fresh coriander leaves as well.
