    3. Heat oil in a pan. wet a small cup with water, turn the cup upside down and put some batter on it and make a hole in center with wet finger.
    4. Drop the vada in hot oil. Deep fry on medium flame till it becomes golden brown from both sides.
    5. Serve hot medu vadas with coconut chutney and sambhar.
