    1. Make ready 500 grams mushroom (sliced)
    2. Get 3 onions (chopped)
    3. Take 4 tomatoes (chopped)
    4. Get 2 cinnamon sticks

    6. Take 3 green chillies
    7. Prepare 1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
    8. Prepare 6 tbspn oil
    9. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    10. Prepare 1 1/2 tsp coriander powder
    11. Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin/jeera powder
    12. Take 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
    13. Prepare 3 tbspn coriander leaves (chopped)

    Instructions

    Steps to make Mushroom Curry:

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add cinnamon sticks and cardamom followed by onions.
    2. Saute till onion turns translucent, add green chillies, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder. Mix well
    3. Add jeera powder and ginger garlic paste. Then add tomatoes after raw smell disappears.
    4. Cover and cook till oil separates from the pan and add mushrooms. Saute for few minutes.
    5. Add water and salt. Cook for another 10 minutes.
    6. Meanwhile grind cashews to smooth paste and add to boiling curry.
    7. Add garam masala powder and coriander leaves.
    8. Serve hot with roti/poori or rice.
