Make a smooth dough out of all the ingredients mentioned. If you want a more softer Khajoor, you can add only Milk while kneading. Otherwise you can follow the recipe exactly as given. Both the ways, you get yummy Lauz. But with Milk alone, you get more softer ones without the crunch.
Keep aside well covered for about 15 minutes. Divide the dough into two or three equal balls. Roll each into a disc and cut into rhombus or diagonal shapes as seen in the pics. Deep fry on a medium-high heat until golden brown and done. Serve them immediately or can be stored in airtight containers for later use. They stay good upto 15 days or more. Let them cool down completely before stacking up.
